I liked the idea of having a playful version of typical round side table so I decided to cut one into half. This generates a shape which is stable, suspenseful and functional at once. The upper hollow can be used as storage but it is a smooth transport handle also.
In addition, with its unique shape "Lathe" looks good in every position of your interior, wether it is set against a wall or anywhere else in the room.
"Lathe" could be made of recycled plastics or even deep-drawn metal is imaginable.
